What
is a dental implant?
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root replacement and is used in
prosthetic dentistry. There

are
several types. The most widely accepted and successful is
the osseointegrated implant, based on the discovery by
Professor
Per-Ingvar Branemark that titanium could be successfully incorporated
into bone when osteoblasts grow on and into the rough surface of the
implanted titanium. This forms a structural and functional connection
between the living bone and the implant

Common
variations on the implant procedure
The most common variations on the implant procedure are:
- implant-supported
bridge
- implant-supported
denture
- and single tooth
implant plus crown
What system
do we use?
We are authorized by German FRIADENT® Implant Systems. We use
two FRIADENT®'s systems: ANKYLOS® and
XiVE®.
Why
ANKYLOS®
SynCone?
ANKYLOS® is a patient-oriented, cost effective and versatile
implant system. With ANKYLOS® SynCone implants, your current
(or
new) denture can be
fixed to a toothless jaw even in 1 day. This method is based on
clinical
experience since 1987. In addition, ANKYLOS® implants are now
covered
with a new FRIADENT® plus surface, which has:
- unique 3-D structure for optimal osteointegration
- increased cell adherence to stimulate bone formation
- unique moistening to improve biocompatibility
- increase of bone quality to achieve expected long-term success.

What
is XiVE®
?
XiVE® is
the implant design for
accelerated
treatment with highest primary stability in all bone qualities.
Ultimate esthetics and accelerated treatment – the
XiVE®
implant cover all indications providing a unique platform for the
optimal realization of all prosthetic concepts using the components of
FRIADENT® Prosthetics.

Warranty
Our implants are guaranteed for 10 years providing that patient attends
check-ups at least once every 6 months or according to an individual
schedule.
Complementary
procedures
Sinus lifting is a common surgical intervention nowadays. The Oral
surgeon thickens the adequate part of atrophic maxilla towards the
sinus with the help of bone transplantation or bone expletive substance
and as a result of it we enable the implantation
1).
Bone replacement will be necessary in case of lack of adequately thick
bone, which could hold the implant. Substances used during the process
of bone replacement can be the own bone of the patient (auto
transplantation) or artificially produced bone expletive substance. The
intervention can be carried out in the maxilla and mandible as well
